Mahila Arogya Vikas is a women’s health movement committed to preventing breast and cervical cancers through early detection, awareness, and compassionate support. For years, our team has travelled to underserved communities, ensuring every woman — regardless of fear, stigma, or financial limitations — receives timely screening and guidance
Under the vision and guidance of Sri Chinna Jeeyar Swamiji, MAV emerged from the belief that when a woman is healthy, an entire family — and ultimately society — thrives. What began as a simple call to serve has grown into a compassionate movement reaching women who are often overlooked due to stigma, distance, or lack of awareness. Swamiji’s mission continues to inspire thousands of dedicated volunteers to walk into society( without using the word “cancer” ), educate women, ease their fears, and offer them the dignity of timely screening, care, and hope.
Our story is one of compassion and impact. Explore how MAV grew into a movement bringing life-saving care to women through this timeline.
MAV has reached over 46 lakh+ women through thousands of camps, supported by dedicated volunteers, doctors, and community workers — creating healthier families and stronger communities.
Our in-house low-cost colposcope transforms cervical screening, reducing cost from ₹2.5 lakh to ₹6,000 and making early detection accessible to every woman.
The Telangana Government partners with MAV, training Anganwadi workers through our team to expand surveys, awareness, and screening across more villages.
Our screening model grows stronger—VIA tests, colposcopy, and free medication become part of every camp, ensuring women receive complete care in one place.
MAV begins its mission in Warangal and Karimnagar, reaching rural women with door-to-door awareness on breast and cervical health.
MAV brings preventive women’s healthcare directly to underserved communities. Our volunteers begin by reaching out to villages, educating women about cancer, early symptoms, and the importance of regular screening—empowering them to stay aware, cautious, and confident about their health. During every camp, we conduct breast and cervical screenings using VIA tests, examinations, and our own low-cost digital colposcope. Reports, counselling, and medication are provided immediately, ensuring each woman receives clear guidance and continuous support—from awareness to diagnosis to follow-up care.
Inspired by Swamiji’s vision, the Telangana Women Development and Child Welfare Department partnered with MAV to expand our reach. Anganwadi workers were officially trained by our team to conduct surveys and camps in their villages, using their existing healthcare presence to create a safe, trusted space for women to share their concerns. Their involvement helps us connect deeply with communities. Supported by local government and private doctors, we conduct medical camps where our customized digital colposcopes enable clear cervical examinations and early detection of abnormalities, helping us contribute to a healthier, happier society.
From a humble beginning, MAV has grown into a far-reaching movement of women’s health. Today, we have served over 46 lakh+ women through more than 1,570 camps across Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Karnataka, West Bengal, Tamil Nadu, Delhi, and even Nepal. Each camp brings early screening, awareness, and timely guidance to women who otherwise struggle to access care — helping them identify risks early, seek treatment sooner, and reclaim their health with confidence.
Is dedicated to empowering women through health awareness, early detection, and free screening programs. Together, we strive to build a healthier future for every woman.
