Mahila Arogya Vikas continues its mission of strengthening women’s health through consistent community outreach. As part of this initiative, the First Sunday Monthly Mahila Arogya Health Camp was successfully conducted on 4 January 2026 at Seetanagaran village in Guntur District.
The camp saw enthusiastic participation from the local community, with 48 women attending the program and availing essential healthcare services. The primary focus of the camp was preventive healthcare for women. V.I.A (Visual Inspection with Acetic Acid) screening was conducted for 36 women, helping in the early identification of cervical health concerns. Based on the screening outcomes, three women were advised follow-up care, ensuring continuity of treatment and medical support.
The camp was organized and conducted by the Central Team of Mahila Arogya Vikas under the able supervision of Dr. Sireesha garu, whose guidance ensured effective coordination and quality healthcare delivery. The initiative was further strengthened by the generous support of the Camp Donor, Smt. Sowbhagya Lakshmiji, whose contribution played a vital role in making the camp a success.
Through these first-Sunday monthly health camps, Mahila Arogya Vikas aims to create awareness about women’s health issues, encourage early diagnosis, and provide accessible medical services at the grassroots level. Such initiatives not only improve health outcomes for women but also empower communities by promoting preventive care and health education.
Mahila Arogya Vikas remains committed to reaching more women through regular health camps and fostering a healthier future for women across the region.
