Mahila Arogya Vikas Health Awareness & Preventive Screening Camp Successfully Conducted at Seethammapeta, Visakhapatnam

With the divine blessings and Mangalasasanams of HH Chinnajeeyar Swamiji, the Mahila Arogya Vikas (MAV) Vizag team successfully conducted a free Health Awareness and Preventive Screening Camp on 19th July 2026 at Seethammapeta, Visakhapatnam.

The camp was organized with the generous sponsorship of Smt. Latha Garu and was conducted under the expert guidance of Gynecologist Dr. Devani, with valuable support from Dr. Revathi. Medical consultations, preventive screenings, and awareness sessions were carried out from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM, ensuring quality healthcare services reached women in the local community.

Clinical Findings

The medical team recorded the following observations during the camp:

  • Breast-related Cases: 0
  • Cervical-related Cases: 7
Together, we remain committed to promoting women’s health, early diagnosis, preventive care, and community wellness through the Mahila Arogya Vikas initiative.
The above follow-up cases have been referred to Vedanta Hospital for further diagnostic tests and treatment under the care of gynaecologist Dr. Devani.
 
Summary of follow-up camp:
 
Follow-up cases from our previous camp were referred to Dr. Priyanka at Homi Baba Cancer Hospital and Research Center for further investigation and two women tested +ve for HPV virus. Biopsy was done and it was found to be non- malignant and both women are being treated accordingly.
