On Sunday, March 22, a Mega Medical Camp was successfully organized in Vijayawada by Omega Hospital under the guidance and initiative of Vikas Tarangini. The camp aimed to provide accessible and affordable healthcare services to the local community.
A wide range of medical services were offered during the camp to address various health concerns. These included basic health screenings such as Blood Pressure (BP) and Blood Sugar tests, along with advanced diagnostic services like ECG and 2D Echo.
Special attention was given to women’s health, where consultations were provided for various gynecological and general health issues. In addition, general medical check-ups were conducted for people of all age groups to promote overall well-being.
One of the key highlights of the camp was the eye care services. Free eye examinations were carried out, and individuals in need were provided with eyeglass frames at no cost, ensuring better vision and quality of life for many participants.
The Mega Medical Camp was a great success, benefiting a large number of people and raising awareness about the importance of regular health check-ups. Initiatives like these play a vital role in building a healthier society by making essential healthcare services available to everyone.
Our revered Acharya HH Chinna Jeeyar Swamiji’s vision behind initiating “Women Health Care” is to remind us that women’s health must be given utmost priority, as they are the ones who nurture and care for the entire family. It is therefore our responsibility to safeguard their well-being. As Swamiji emphasizes, prevention is always better than cure.
