Women’s Health Base Camp at Karimnagar

Jai Srimannarayana 🙏

Under the divine guidance and Mangalasasanams of HH Sri Sri Sri Tridandi Chinna Srimannarayana Ramanuja Jeeyar Swamiji, a significant milestone was achieved in women’s health empowerment at Andal Goshti, Karimnagar.

On 27th October 2025Smt. Madhavi Ravinder Garu from the Central Team conducted a training session for 45 Women Health Workers, preparing them for the upcoming Women Health Vikasa Camps. The session proved to be highly beneficial and insightful, equipping the participants with essential knowledge and confidence.

Following this, on 28th October 2025, a Women’s Health Base Camp was successfully organized under the direct supervision of Smt. Madhavi Ravinder Garu. The trained Vikasa Tarangini volunteers actively participated, applying their learning in practical fieldwork. Madhavi Garu personally guided each participant with dedication, ensuring clarity and confidence in their service.

Inspired by her words, a volunteer from the VT-3 Vidyanagar branch (an LIC employee) expressed the need for a laptop to manage program data. In a heartfelt gesture, Smt. Vani Garu immediately contributed the necessary funds to fulfill this requirement — a true act of service spirit.

Sri Yadagiri Shekhar Rao GaruPrajna State Coordinator, assured that a school van will be arranged to facilitate volunteer travel for upcoming health camps in rural areas. Sri Chalmada Lakshminarasimha Rao GaruJET President, further announced that doctors and free medicines would be made available at all villages and towns where these camps are held — a commendable and compassionate initiative.

Adding to the noble effort, six Pharma D students from CVM participated and offered their valuable services, receiving Swamiji’s divine blessings for their dedication.

The Women’s Health Base Camp was officially inaugurated on 28th October 2025. A total of 59 women underwent medical examinations — with 36 found normal20 identified for follow-up, and 3 requiring further attention.

Going forward, Women Health Base Camps will be conducted regularly on the 2nd and 4th Sundays at Andal Goshti, Muggurampuram, Karimnagar, continuing the mission of empowering women through holistic health and awareness.

Special thanks to our camp donor, Smt. Surekha Patnaik Aroha, whose generous contribution made this adventure possible for all participants.
